ABSTRACT
The complex set of problems related to the knowledge, documentation and, moreover, enhancement of architectural and urban heritage necessarily requires a multidisciplinary approach. The architectural survey, as well as being used for representing and documenting, is moreover the main tool of interpretation and knowledge of the architectural and urban heritage. For this purpose, it must be opened to the integration of data and results coming from different field of expertise.
TOPICS
This session is, therefore, dedicated to explorations of integrated digital survey approach for the knowledge, documentation and enhancement of architectural and urban heritage through a broad panorama of topics such as:
- Geophysical investigations integrated to digital surveys for the knowledge of architectural and urban heritage and the analysis of its degradation phenomena;
- Building Physics integrated to the digital architectural and urban survey for the analysis of degradation phenomena;
- Integrated digital survey methodologies for structural or seismic risk analysis of architectural and urban heritage;
- Integrated digital survey tools for maintenance and preventive conservation of architectural and urban heritage;
- Parametric modelling methodologies integrated to digital surveys for the knowledge and enhancement of cultural heritage;
- Digital platform (HBIM, GIS, etc.) for data management and communication of architectural and urban heritage;
- Any other application of integrated digital survey methods and tools for the knowledge and enhancement of architectural and urban heritage.
