Also known as "La Statale", the University of Milan is, relatively speaking, one of Italy’s younger university institutions. It was founded in 1924 thanks to the tenacious efforts of doctor and gynaecologist Luigi Mangiagalli, who in creating La Statale, realised his long-held dream of building a university for Lombardy’s regional capital.

HOW TO REACH US
By Train:
The "MALPENSA EXPRESS" train service will take you directly from the airport to the Milan "Centrale" train station in approximately 50 minutes. The service is available from 05:30 to 22:30. The one-way ticket price is 13€ and it can be purchased on-line (https://www.malpensaexpress.it/en/), at the Malpensa Express ticket offices at the Airport or at the self-service ticket machines located at platform no. 3 in Milan "Centrale" train station.
From here you can take the metro Yellow Line 3 (San Donato direction) and get off at "Missori" station. The fare is 1,50€ at it can be purchased at the self-service ticket machines. The congress venue is at 450 meters walking distance.
The “MALPENSA EXPRESS” train service will take you directly from the airport to the centre of Milan in 40 minutes, arriving at the Ferrovie Nord “Cadorna” station.
Here take the Red Metro Line 1 (Sesto F.S. direction) for 3 stops until DUOMO or SAN BABILA. Then the University is at 400 meters walking distance.
When you arrive to the Ferrovie Nord “Cadorna” station by MALPENSA EXPRESS shuttle bus you can alternatively take the bus n. 94, direction Minghetti – P.ta Volta and run over 10 bus stops. Get off at the bus station Via F. Sforza – Via Andreani.
By Taxi:
Taxi docks are at arrivals, Ground floor, exit gate 6 at Terminal 1 and exit gate 4 at Terminal 2. The length of the trip is around one hour.
The rate is 95€ from Milano Malpensa to any address within the city area.
MILANO Centrale
Direclty from Milano Centrale you can take the Yellow tube (M3) direction San Donato for 4 Stops and then the Venue is 400 mt farway.
MILANO Porta Garibaldi
Takes Metro Green (M2) for 2 stops and get off in Milano Centrale, where you take tube Yellow (M2). After 4 stops get off and reach the venue walking for 400 mt
